CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY SEASONTUTORIAL

11/13/20242 min read

I make cards each year for my Mom to send out. She only likes to send religious Christmas cards and as she is 96 getting out to buy them is not always easy for her.

This is one of this year’s selection.

Let’s get Started:

Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25

Card Face: 5.25 x 4

Card Face:

  • I dusted the card face liberally with anti-static powder.

  • I put it into the stamp positioner and positioned the two border stamps.

  • After stamping with Versamark embossing ink I sprinkled silver embossing powder over the ink and set it with my heat gun.

  • I put the card face back into the stamp positioner and added the “Peace” .. I stamped this a couple of times with the embossing ink to ensure good coverage.

  • I used the same silver embossing powder over this, and set it with my heat gun.

Assembly

  • I added dimensional foam to the back of the card face, and glued it to the card base, centered on all sides.

  • I added a tiny pearl to the center of the star.

Final Thoughts:

This card is so simple and yet so elegant - I know that my Mom will love sending this one.
