Let’s get Started:
Card Base: 4.25 x 11, scored and folded at 5.5
Black Border: 4 x 5.5 **
Card Face:3.75 x 5.5
See Cheating on Layers and Borders under Stretch Your Pennies in the Header
Card Face:
I laid the card face on my Grip Mat, positioned the stencil and applied blue ink across the exposed surface.
I stamped the flower with Memento Ink and coloured it with alcohol markers.
I put the card face into the stamp positioner and stamped the sentiment a couple of times with Versafine Onyx.
.
Other:
I die cut the glasses from white cardstock and used a black fineliner to add the black stripes.
Assembly
I glued the black layer to the card base, and added the card face on top of this.
I glued the glasses in place.
I used Nuvo drops to add a 3D nose under the glasses.
Final Thoughts:
I love the combination of this big flower and specs, and the sentiment makes me chuckle. I feel that the entire design came together really well.
