Let’s Get Started:

Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25

Border: 5.25 x 4

Card Face: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8

Card Face:

• I secured the stencil to the card face with Mint Tape. Using my blending brush and a soft grey ink, I applied ink through the stencil allowing a variation in tone.

• I stamped both stars onto the card face and coloured them with alcohol markers. The star on the right came complete with "string", but I added the bow with a black Fineliner.

• I added a shadow to the cloud where the baby would be, using a very soft grey alcohol marker.

• I put the card face into my stamp positioner and added the sentiment.

Other:

I stamped the baby with black Memento ink and coloured it with alcohol markers. I fussy cut it as I don't have dies for this set.

• I glued the baby in place.

• I added Glossy Accents to the two stars. This doesn't show up in the image, but it adds a nice bit of dimension and shine in real life.

Assembly:

I glued the border layer to the card base, and then the card face onto this new layer.

Final thoughts:
