Would you like to experiment with a design like this? You'll find a supply list below, including a link to the stencil I used from A Colorful Life Designs. Follow the link and use discount code ChrisFan10 to save 10% on your entire order! (Master Creator Bundles are excluded as they already have a 20% discount built in.)
Let’s get Started:
Card Base: 4.25 x 11, scored and folded at 5.5
Card Face: 4 x 5.25
Vellum: 7 x 3
Card Face:
I laid the card face on my Grip Mat, positioned the first layer of the stencil and added red ink across the surface.
I removed the first stencil and added the second one. After positioning it carefully I added turquoise ink to the open areas.
Other:
I used anti static powder liberally on the vellum and then put it into my stamp positioner.
I stamped a couple of times with Versamark clear embossing ink, sprinkled it with silver embossing powder and then set it with my heat gun.
Assembly
I centered the vellum on the card face (both vertically and horizontally), folded it at the edges and secured it with scotch tape on the back.
I glued the card face to the card base.
I added two pale blue bits of bling to each side of the sentiment.
Final Thoughts:
This card has a cool retro vibe that I love.
