Would you like to experiment with a design like this? You'll find a supply list below, including a link to the stencil I used from A Colorful Life Designs. Let’s get Started:
Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25
Card Face: 5.5 x 4.25
Card Face:
I laid the card face on the Grip Mat and positioned the stencil.
I used yellow and pink ink across the surface, blending to create orange where they met.
I put the card face into the stamp positioner and used Versafine Onyx to create an image intense enough to stand out against the stencilled pattern.
Other:
I looked in my Ready To Go * binder and selected 3 sentiments for the card.
I put dimensional foam on the back of each one.
*See Ready to Go binder under Techniques in the header
Assembly
I glued the card face to the card base.
I put each of the sentiments in place as shown.
I scattered yellow bling on a diagonal from the bottom left to the top right.
Final Thoughts:
I love these Tim Holtz blossoms, and was so happy to use one on this card. I love the colours peeking through the black ink.
I initially popped the middle sentiment up on foam and glued the other two flat: I decided I didn’t like that look and ended up popping all three up.
