A clean and simple card
and a very sincere Thank You

This CAS (clean and simple) card was created using retired product - it's fun to get them out to play sometimes!
Let’s get started:-
Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25
Green Border: 5.25 x 4 *
Card Face: 4.75 x 3.5
* See Cheating on Borders and Layers under Stretch Your Pennies in the header
Card Face:
I put the card face into my stamp positioner and positioned the leaf. I stamped a couple of times with dark green ink to get an intense impression.
I repeated this with the sentiment.
I wanted this to be a very clean and simple card, but I felt it needed something more, so I added a small, narrow embossing folder along the left hand side.
Assembly:
I glued the green border layer to the card base, and the card face on top of this.
Final Thoughts
The Gift Shop in our local hospital can’t keep ahead of demand for thank you cards, so they call me every so often and I help to restock them. This was created as part of a recent donation - I create a variety of styles as everyone has their own idea of what a card should look like. This is a very simple design, but it works well.
Unfortunately, all of the supplies in this card are retired - but they are still lovely and it was a great opportunity to pull a few out and have a play.
