Let’s get Started:
Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25
Card Face: 5.25 x 4
Card Face:
- I placed the card face in the stamp positioner and stamped the large flower with Versafine Onyx.
- I sprinkled clear embossing powder over the wet ink and set it with my heat gun.
- Moving the card face to the grip mat, I positioned the stencil so it ended at the center of the large flower. Then I used blue, green, pink and yellow inks randomly across open spaces.
- I moved the card face back to the stamp positioner and positioned the dragonfly stamp to line up with the end of the stencilled trail. I added the image using Versamark embossing ink. I sprinkled gold embossing powder over this and set it with my heat gun.
- I also used the stamp positioner to add the sentiment, once again using Versafine Onyx, sprinkling the wet ink with clear embossing powder and setting it with my heat gun.
Assembly
- I glued the card face to the card base.
Final Thoughts:
This is a pretty card with that multicoloured path behind the dragonfly. Although the dragonfly isn’t very visible in the picture, it’s easily seen with card in hand and quite pretty with the gold embossing. However, if I were to recreate the card, I would have the dragonfly partially off of the large blossom to increase visibility.
